Our Terms and Conditions of Contract are as follows;
All Council consents are the sole responsibility of the client.
Quote is valid from 30 days from date of issue.
All projects will require pedestrian and vehicle access to the site, including street parking for the truck / chipper. Should you desire witches hats to make this possible, please communicate this with the office when scheduling the works.
Should the staff turn up and conditions change (for example; no parking or change to the site layout, or the terms of engagement change then this triggers a variation from works quoted, which includes but is not limited to cancellation described herein.
All mulch and debris is to be left on site unless described within the quote.
Working Hours
Quote is based on carrying out work during normal working hours Monday-Friday 7am-5pm unless specified otherwise. Weekends, Public Holidays and Night and emergency call out work will incur additional charges. Tree work is dusty and noisy. It is highly recommended that the client contacts all nearby neighbour’s to notify them of impending works (so as laundry doesn’t get soiled)
Cancellation
Should you cancel the job after the crew has been dispatched, you will be charged a minimum of 2 hours call out fee per staff member plus any other costs incurred.
Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with the work or service you received please contact the office immediately. If it is not brought to our attention within 48 hours after completion of the works, it will be assumed that you are satisfied with the work and normal payment terms apply.
Payment Terms
Our terms are payment strictly upon completion of work. Should you require longer to settle your account please discuss this with our office at the time of acceptance of the quote.
Deposit
Should you wish to proceed with the work we require a 20% deposit before we are able to schedule the work.
Non Payment
In the event of non payment, we reserve the right to recover all expenses, costs &/or disbursements incurred in recovering any/and all overdue monies including debt collection fees, solicitors fees and all legal fees.
Ownership of Goods
Tree Technics Pty Ltd remains the rightful owner of all goods and materials until all monies have been received in full.
Where Tree Technics Pty Ltd is entitled to reclaim possession of the goods or materials, the customer authorises Tree Technics Pty Ltd, its servants and agents to lawfully enter the Customers property for the purpose of reclaiming possession.
Advertising
Site addresses will from time to time be used for advertising or marketing material by Tree Technics Pty Ltd, however no personal contact details will be included and all contact details held by Tree Technics Pty Ltd will remain strictly confidential. We reserve the right to take images of your project and display them on our website for promotional use only. Your first name and suburb will be displayed alongside the image used, if required.
Unseen Objects
You may be charged extra if unseen objects, such as concrete or metal are found in the tree / stump and may delay the work or cause damage to plant and equipment.
Underground Services
No responsibility will be taken for damage to services under the ground unless we have been advised of their exact location or they are exposed prior to the commencement of the works. If uncertain please contact our office and we can arrange for a service location to be carried out. This would incur additional charges.
Stump Grinding
Stumps will be ground to a depth of approximately 200mm below ground level and all grindings will be left in neat pile over the hole unless specified otherwise in the quote. A stump is the timber directly below a trunk. Stump grinding does NOT constitute chasing of roots. Chasing roots involves many radial metres disturbance / damage to all / nearby fences, driveways, services and gardens. Chasing roots can be conducted on an hourly basis and with additional costs of damage to the equipment. This addition is only possible if the client is to notify Tree Technics at the time of scheduling.
